A bit of star power will make its way from Augusta to Hilton Head for the 54th RBC Heritage. Players Champion Cameron Smith is part of a strong group that includes five of the top 10 players in the world. Joining Smith are Justin Thomas, Patrick Cantlay, Dustin Johnson and Collin Morikawa, as is Jordan Spieth looking to overcome his missed cut in last week’s major.

Fresh off an Augusta ace, Stewart Cink will be back to defend his 2021 championship at Hilton Head. The 47-year-old picked up a four-stroke win to earn his second win on the Tour, which featured 63 consecutive innings to start the event.

Another big file this week, that of the return of Morgan Hoffmann. This will be his first tour tournament since 2019. Hoffmann left the United States after being diagnosed with muscular dystrophy and has been in Costa Rica for a self-improvement trip. He has three starts left on a major medical expansion to try and keep his PGA Tour card.

The winner will receive 500 FedEx Cup points and a $1.44 million share of the $8 million purse.
