CITY OF CORAL GABLES CORAL GABLES GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB MANAGEMENT
Effective Monday, May 2, the City of Coral Gables operates the Coral Gables Golf and Country Club. The club, the city’s first public building established in 1922, is currently closed while the city conducts a comprehensive assessment of the building to determine repair and maintenance needs. The goal is to open as soon as possible to meet the needs of residents and members.
Following this assessment, a termite camp will take place, which will have a slight impact on the current roofing project. Additional repairs and improvements, including to the pool and landscaping, are also planned which will improve and beautify the facility but will not affect the reopening. Currently rented fitness equipment will be maintained until new state-of-the-art Technogym equipment arrives.
“We are working diligently to reopen this facility,” said Fred Couceyro, director of the community recreation department that manages the facility. “We look forward to opening the club to our residents and members.”
Granada Golf Course and Tennis Center remain open.
