Jon Rahm wildly roasts Saudi-backed league and former PGA stars

PGA stars weren’t shy about calling out former stars who left the PGA for the LIV Golf Tour. Rory Mcilroy, Justin Thomas and Tiger Woods are just some of the current PGA stars who shared their thoughts on the situation. Many believe that those who have joined the LIV Golf Tour have turned their backs on the PGA. Jon Rahm recently gave a brutally honest assessment on the LIV Golf Tour and his newfound talent.

“Be honest, part of the format doesn’t really appeal to me,” Rahm said. “Shotgun [start], three days — is not a golf tournament for me, without a cup. It’s so simple. I want to play against the world in a format that has been around for hundreds of years.

Rahm is considered one of the best golfers in the world. He performs with intense emotion that ignites crowds at events. He’s also not shy about speaking his mind.

Jon Rahm then grilled players in underhanded fashion such as Bryson DeChambeau and Dustin Johnson for taking LIV Golf money and leaving the PGA.

“For a lot of people, I’m not going to lie, these next three or four years are basically worth their retirement plan that they gave them. It’s a very nice compensation to retire and sail into the sunset .

Rahm also explained how he plays for the love of the game rather than monetary reasons. He also said he can retire today and live a happy life without taking the money from LIV Golf.
