Westchester Public Golf Courses Open

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Believe it or not, it’s time to play golf.

Before spring officially arrives – and after putting the clocks forward an hour – all six Westchester County-owned golf courses will open for the season on Monday, weather and conditions permitting.

County Manager George Latimer said that over the past two years the county golf course has seen the highest attendance in more than 20 years.

“It’s time to get out your golf clubs and have fun on the best public courses,” he said. “I encourage you to come and enjoy the beauty of our well-maintained Westchester County golf courses.”

Tee time reservations can be made by visit this site or by calling individual lessons. Walk-in reservations will also be accepted.

Courses are Hudson Hills to Ossining, Maple Moor to White Plains, Mohansic to Yorktown Heights; the Saxon Woods at Scarsdale; and Dunwoodie and Sprain Lake, both in Yonkers.

All courses have on-site restaurants, halfway houses, and full-service pro shops. Training grounds are available at Dunwoodie, Mohansic, Saxon Woods and Sprain Lake.

All available EZ Reserve seats will be sold on the courses. These allow golfers with a Westchester County Park Pass to lock in a regular Saturday or Sunday tee time for a period of 25 weeks.
